We believe that We, the members of Greater Gethsemane African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, have assembled under the Devine authority and sovereignty of Almighty God, as the children of God, and as followers of Jesus Christ. We are a beloved community of faith and hope that has been called and sent to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all people.
We endeavor by preaching, teaching and equipping others and ourselves, to be true to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to minister holistically to those who are in need.
God called us "to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord." (Luke 4:17-19)
We further believe in a holistic approach to ministry, where we minister to the whole person: spirit, mind and body.
