Theology of Ministry

Theology of Ministry

My theological perspective of ministry is a holistic approach to meeting the needs of God's people.

The spiritual formation of believers is the foundation for ministry.

The church is called to help people discern their spiritual gifts and to develop them.

Christian Education is essential; in order to tell others about Christ and to invite them to Him.

Evangelism is the responsibility of every member and not just a few.  Each member is called to W.I.N. (Witness, Invite, Nurture)

Equipping the laity for ministry is essential to effective ministry.

Community worship is vital to the church's identity as the body of Christ, and to the church's sense of mission and ministry.

As Methodists, we are called to a life of holiness, prayer and study.
